The photograph shown here, from my work with the last two northern white rhinos in Kenya, was selected for Leica’s international The World Deserves Witnesses campaign. It is one chapter in a career built over more than two decades across editorial photography, commercial production, television, and photography education.
I’ve completed more than 100 assignments for The New York Times, co-founded and lead Mott Visuals—a commercial photography studio and video production company—spent five years as host and judge of HISTORY’s Photo Face-Off, and led talks and workshops for Leica Akademie.
That range of experience is what I bring to every AskMOTT assignment, critique, workshop, and private coaching session. I’ll help you make more deliberate decisions, edit with greater clarity, and build a consistent practice that produces stronger photographs.
