Photographer, educator, and founder of AskMott.
I've spent nearly two decades working as a photographer on editorial and commercial assignments around the world, including more than 100 assignments for The New York Times. My photography documenting Vietnam has been published in National Geographic and on the BBC.
I'm also a Leica Witness and an ambassador for Helping Rhinos, supporting conservation efforts focused on protecting endangered wildlife.
That experience shapes how I teach. Not as theory, but as practical problem solving under real constraints like deadlines, clients, and real people in front of the camera.
I also hosted Photo Face-Off on History Channel for five seasons.Â
