About Justin Mott
Photographer, educator, and founder of AskMott.
I’ve spent nearly two decades working as a photographer on editorial and commercial assignments around the world, including more than 100 assignments for The New York Times.
I’m also a Leica Witness and an ambassador for Helping Rhinos, supporting conservation efforts focused on protecting endangered wildlife.
That experience shapes how I teach. Not as theory, but as practical problem solving under real constraints like deadlines, clients, and real people in front of the camera.
I also spent five years hosting a television show, which shaped how I communicate and teach clearly and directly.
