7-Day Northern Vietnam Small Group Premium Photography WorkshopÂ
Location | Northern Vietnam
Dates | December 7â13, 2026
Price | $5695 (full payment required to secure your spot)
Spend seven days shooting, learning, and refining your photography across Northern Vietnam with New York Times assignment photographer Justin Mott.
This small group workshop is designed for photographers who want an immersive, hands-on experience with structure, direction, and real-world shooting opportunities.
This is not a casual trip or photo tour. It is a working photography workshop built around observation, storytelling, and making stronger decisions in the field.
You will work across the energy of Hanoi and the landscapes of Northern Vietnam, developing your ability to see more clearly and build more intentional images over time.
The goal is simple. Build stronger images and a more consistent photographic approach.
What Youâll Do
This workshop is built around daily shooting, structured assignments, and group reviews.
You will photograph a range of environments, work through real-world situations, and receive direct feedback on your work throughout the program. Â
With a small group of participants, the experience is collaborative while still allowing for meaningful individual feedback and growth. Â

This workshop is led by Justin Mott with local production support throughout the program.
Justin leads all instruction, assignments, and daily reviews, drawing from his experience working on editorial and long-form documentary assignments internationally. Â
